Registration
Anderson’s is registered with the Care Inspectorate as a Residential Home for the elderly. We continuously strive to improve our standards to ensure that our residents have the highest quality of care that they and their families can expect.
We understand the anxiety and stress that can arise when people can no longer look after themselves and struggle to live independently. Anderson’s is here to help and we tailor the care we provide to meet the needs of each resident and improve their quality of life. We provide support and assistance with day to day living and offer a very varied and stimulating programme of activities.
Care Inspectorate & Inspections
The Care Inspectorate regularly inspect our services to ensure that we are meeting the required National Care Standards and working to improve the quality of care for everyone. Following an inspection, a report is produced. We are always happy to discuss these reports so please contact us if you would like to view / access the latest Inspection Report.

When, you or a member of your family is diagnosed with dementia, it is a worrying time. At Anderson’s our dedicated carers provide practical and emotional support and ensure that everyday routines are maintained in a relaxed, stable and homely environment.
We recognise that from time to time families and carers need a break to reinvigorate and refresh. We also know how important it is to get your loved one back on their feet following an operation and our convalescent care can be an essential ingredient in providing confidence to return home.
At Anderson’s we have one Respite Room and we tailor a package to meet individual needs. The experience that we provide is focused on maintaining the health and wellbeing of our short stay residents, providing them with the care they need as well as an engaging programme of activities where they can learn new skills and meet and share experiences with others.
Each client is encouraged to bring along small personal items to help make their stay with us both an enjoyable and memorable experience. We also support residents to access various activities both within Anderson’s and the wider local community.
